Bonfire Night

    Every 5th of November, people all around the UK celebrate Bonfire Night, a night with a long tradition. They celebrate that Guy Fawkes and a group of men failed in their attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London in 1605, something that we know as the 'Gunpowder Plot'. Since then, fireworks displays and bonfires are organised and people sit around them and eat traditional Bonfire Night foods. Moreover, children always make a stuffed Guy and ask for 'a penny for the guy'. Now, it's your turn.
